Annotating Images.
Composition- is defined as the combining of distinct parts or elements to form a whole. In photography that definition is very important in taking quality pictures. The following rules of composition should be learned and considered but not necessarily used in every photo.
Focus-a central point, as of attraction, attention, or activity: The need to prevent a nuclear war became the focus of all diplomatic efforts.
Gradient-An image gradient is a directional change in the intensity or color in an image. Image gradients may be used to extract information from images.
Tone-Tone may consist of shadings from white-to-gray-to-black, or it may consist of darks against lights with little or no grays.
Contrast-There are many different ones such as colour contrast, tonal contrast and contrast. Contrast is defined as the separation between the darkest and brightest areas of the image. Increase contrast and you increase the separation between dark and bright, making shadows darker and highlights brighter.
Aperture-A device that controls the amount of light admitted through an opening. In photography and digital photography, aperture is the unit of measurement that defines the size of the opening in the lens that can be adjusted to control the amount of light reaching the film or digital sensor.
Blurred-Motion blur is the apparent streaking of rapidly moving objects in a still image or a sequence of images such as a movie or animation. It results when the image being recorded changes during the recording of a single frame, either due to rapid movement or long exposure.
Depth Off Field-
Exposure- The exposure is how long you expose your picture for example 5-30 seconds.
Shutter- Time opening and closing the shutter.
