Cyanotypes.
Anna Atkins.
Anna was born 1799. She studied flowers and was also a photographer and in most of her pictures she used flowers or plants. Cyanotypes were amongst the first ever kinds of photographs that did not require a camera. Anna was the first person to publish a book illustrated with photographic images. In this image as you see she used flower and a plant. I think that this photo does work well because you can see what the object is really clearly. Other people may say about this photo that it is interesting and not what you would see everyday.
What Are Cyanotypes?
-It was old fashioned, you did not ever need to go in the dark room. The paper is green before its exposed but when you wash it turns blue.
How Do You Do A Cyanotypes?
-A cyanotype is when you get about 5 or more objects such as bracelets, pens ect. Then place them on the photographic paper, when you have placed them on the paper leave it the for 5 minuets, the UV light will be exposed... then you wash it with water and then let it dry.
